Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, has announced the discontinuation of its Top-Up/HND Conversion programme effective from the 2025/2026 academic session.
This was made known in a public announcement signed by the Registrar of the institution, Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee.
According to the statement, the decision was taken in compliance with regulations and directives of the National Universities Commission (NUC), the regulatory body overseeing university education in Nigeria.
The university noted that the NUC would, in due course, provide directives regarding the status of students currently enrolled in the programme at KWASU.
The institution reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining ethical standards and strict adherence to policies and guidelines set by the regulatory authority.
KWASU further assured the public of its continued dedication to quality education and regulatory compliance in all its academic programmes.
