The Shagaya Consolidation Team has organised a prayer session in honour of the lawmaker representing Ilorin West/Asa Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Mukhtar Shagaya, calling on him to seek reelection and continue his service to the people.
The event, held at the Shagaya Ward in Ojuekun/Zarumi on Sunday, drew respected elders, youth leaders, and key community stakeholders who expressed strong support for the lawmaker’s continued representation of the constituency.
Leading the delegation of community figures was Alhaji Baba Olosasa, whose presence and other stakeholders, according to the youth group, reflected the depth of grassroots appreciation for Shagaya’s record in office.
Members of the Muktar Shagaya Movement, the Oju-Ekun group, and the Youth Development Association of Ojuekun also attended.
The Shagaya Consolidated Team noted that the lawmaker commands support across generational and organisational lines.
Attendees, however, offered prayers for Shagaya’s wisdom, strength, and success, with speakers commending his performance and expressing optimism about what his continued service could deliver for the constituency.
The Shagaya Consolidation Team, further described the prayer session as part of a broader initiative to encourage the lawmaker to return for another term.
